First step is to learn how to write Smart Objectives.
Here is my objectives for our week 3 session
By the end of our week 3 session, teacher candidates will be able to:
- identify the formula for smart learning objectives and its 5 parts in their group activity.
OBJECTIVE= SWAT + specific performance + learning outcome + conditions or constraints + criterion, standard.
- write minimum three smart learning objectives for their curriculum project on their e-portfolios.
- align 50% of the smart learning objectives with common core and NCCCS on their draft lesson plan.
- post an annotation about minimum 2 UDL lesson plan and educational technology ideas that relate to their CP to their portfolio.

LP OBJECTIVE Formula= SWAT + specific performance + learning outcome + conditions or constraints + criterion, standard.
Class Examples:
SWBAT describe the symptoms of cerebral palsy. A quiz will be given after the session.
SWBAT list 2 symptoms and 2 causes of muscular dystrophy by the end of the lesson.
SWBAT: Students will be able to identify 5 symptoms of drug/alcohol abuse in their journal by the end of class.
SWBAT demonstrate knowledge of where animals live by constructing a map after researching the assigned region and the assigned animals.
SWBAT calculate the sum of double-digit numbers by completing 10 problems in their workbook with 80% accuracy.
